Are you talking about the "pro" version of Etrecheck? If so, you might want to consult Etrecheck Support:

It is still unclear what Activation Code you are referring to. A screenshot of what you are seeing may be helpful.

What Activation Code are you referring to? Do you mean that you see the Activation Lock Screen and it is asking for the Apple Account credentials used to identify ownership.
Etrecheck runs with no problem but how do I get to the activation lock screen?
... and why does Etrecheck not show on the the screen of applications? It runs from the finder listing of applications
