(Null) and strange name added to past text conversation on my iPhone Messages app

I received a text message a while ago from my grandma back in march. I checked the text recently and saw something weird. Why is it saying (null) and a strange user called “thinkingif”? Is someone hacking my grandmother’s phone?

If you received this from your grandma, then this would indicate she created this group chat but mistakenly added someone that doesn’t exist (null) and is not enrolled in Messages. This can happen if you mistakenly write your message in the recipients list. No your iPhone is not hacked, simply delete that group conversation and message with your grandma directly.
