Is there a way to stop app update notices in sequoia
Apps that I never use so no need to update yet notices pile up.

Two possible ways to accomplish this.
1) System Settings > Notifications [your app names], Then disable notifications
2) Look for automatic updates within the app settings. Then disable there as well.

If you are referring to App Store App's..?
Go to the App Store > Account Settings > Purchased and hide or delete those App's.
If you are referring to other App's..?
Please provide us with a list of those App's.
