Why does my 16 pro over heat so fast and frequently?

That's a NEW feature we all see when fast charging our iPhones. The meaning is your phone fast charged to 80%, which by nature generates more warmth, so the phone will stop charging at that level until the phone is cooler, then charge the rest of the way. Your iPhone is NOT overheating. When an iPhone truly overheats a graphic of a thermometer is displayed on the screen with a message saying the phone can't be used until it cools down. I'm sure you're not seeing a Thermometer, so your phone isn't overheating.


But these new phones are more power hungry with all their advanced features. When you push a battery harder, they generate heat naturally. This is nothing to be concerned about.
