Should I be worried after clicking a suspicious link on my iPhone?

I was not paying attention and I received an email regarding an Indigo credit card. I clicked on the unsubscribed… it took me to a webpage with text ( I can’t recall what it said). Then I closed it immediately.

The sender address was “r*************e.com

this was on my iPhone running the latest 18.5

should I be concerned? What should I do?

Hey! No worries, you reacted perfectly by closing it fast & not entering info.

Here's the quick checklist:

  1. Delete Email: Get rid of it.
  2. Monitor unknown devices on iPhone: Go to Settings > Your Name. Scroll down to "Devices." Remove any you don't recognize.
  3. Change Apple account passwords : Crucial for safety! Go to Settings > Your Name > Sign-In & Security > Change Password.
  4. Do a Safety Check: Settings > Privacy & Security > Safety Check. Review who has access to your info/apps & remove anything unfamiliar.
  5. Clear Safari Data: Settings > Safari > Clear History & Website Data.
