Unable to restore apps from App Library to Home Screen

I’ve tried to return the apps to my Home Screen, but the option is gone. I have turned my phone off and then back on. Is this due to a software update for iPhones 15?

No. It's not due to an update.

ALL of your apps are in the App Library.

Go to the App Library. Tap and hold you want to add to the Home Screen until the menu pops up. Tap "Add to Home Screen".

If an entire page of apps suddenly vanished, check your focus settings. It is possible to restrict which Home Screen pages will appear for specific focus selections.

As I said, nothing "suddenly appeared" in your App Library. ALL of the apps you have are in the App Library. ALL of them.

What happens when you long press one of them in the App Library? A menu should pop up. If it is not already on the Home Screen , you should see an option to add it to the Home Screen.

If you don't, change the active focus or turn the active focus off and check to see if you see it now.

Have you checked to make sure that you are not hiding a home screen? If you press and hold on one of your home screens until the icons begin to "wiggle". Go down to just above the dock area, where the bottom row of icons is. You should see a series of dots, as shown in the first screenshot I've provided. Tap on that group of dots. The screen should change like the second screenshot that I provided. When you look at that screen, you will see an image of all your home screens with a checkmark below them. If there is no checkmark, that screen is hidden. Tap on it and the checkmark should appear, then tap Done in the upper right corner. If there was no checkmark, after checking it, that screen will appear again.

As far as what KiltedTim was saying about what were you seeing, if you hold an icon in the App Library, if it is not on a home screen, it would appear as what you see in this last screenshot. You can see the entry in the menu to add it to the home screen.
