Charging cord won’t go into iphone 16 pro max

Take a wooden or plastic tooth pick and gently root in the port to see if anything dislodges. If nothing, the next step would be to schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar and let Apple take a look at it --> Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple

Are you using the original USB C charging cord, which came with your iPhone or some other cord? If the original cord isn't working are the other cords USB C? If you use a flashlight to look in the charging port, do you see any impacted debris?
