If you're not seeing messages in Messenger Kids on your iPhone, try switching profiles back and forth within the app. Specifically, click on your child's profile picture, select "Switch Profiles", and then click back on your child's profile. This often resolves the issue by re-authorizing the device within the child's profile. If that doesn't work, ensure the app is updated, the internet connection is stable, and that there's enough storage space on the device. You can also try restarting the app or the device itself.

Profile Switching:

  • Open the Messenger Kids app on your child's iPhone.
  • Locate and tap on your child's profile picture, usually in the top left corner.
  • Select "Switch Profiles".
  • Instead of switching to another profile, tap back on your child's profile picture.
  • This action often makes the messages reappear.

App and Device Checks:

  • Update the App: Make sure you have the latest version of Messenger Kids installed. Go to the App Store and check for updates.
  • Check Internet Connection: Ensure your iPhone is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or cellular network.
  • Restart the App: Close the Messenger Kids app completely and then reopen it.
  • Restart the Device: Sometimes restarting your iPhone can resolve temporary glitches.
  • Check Storage: Ensure your iPhone has enough free storage space.
