Downloading iOS 18 on iPhone 7

An iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, or iPhone SE 1 isn't capable of 16 or above; they require an A11 or better CPU.

You can download iOS 18, if you have an iPhone 11 or higher model.

The best that you can do with an iPhone 7 is download iOS 15.8.4. No more updates after that for the iPhone 7.

You cannot download iOS 18 to an iPhone 7. Nor can you download iOS 17, or even iOS 16, to that phone.

I just traded my 7 plus for a 16e because it could no longer preform updates. It will not update for you ever again.
