Request to Reactivate Replaced AirPods Pro 2 Serial Number
Hello,
I purchased AirPods Pro 2 (USB-C) recently. They work fine and are genuine, but I have discovered an issue with the serial number:
- When I check coverage, it says “This device is being repaired” and “This product has been replaced.”
- Firmware updates are not installing (still on 6B34 despite using iOS 26.0 (23A5276f).
- The device is visible in Find My and works normally.
I believe I have the right to use the product with full functionality, including firmware updates and warranty verification. I am requesting:
- Reactivation of the serial number so that my AirPods receive firmware updates and can be covered under normal support.
- An explanation of why this product still shows as “being repaired” and what steps are needed to restore it to active status.
I purchased these as a fully functional product and would like this issue resolved as soon as possible.
