How to turn off allow device to access photos and videos

How to turn off allow device to access photos and videos when plugging into my PC (Windows 11). It does this every time and it’s annoying. I have tried everything that has been posted here and none of the suggestions work. My iPhone is a SE second generation running iOS 18.5

Many thanks in advance

I'm not aware of any way to turn this off. And for MOST people if there was a way, we'd be seeing this forum flooded with complaints that something changed and they can't upload photos anymore. This is the main reason most people actually connect an iPhone to their computer, which is to upload photos and sync data. Just tap Don't Allow when the box appears and do whatever it is you wanted to do.
I'm afraid I won't have access to my photos on my iPhone or PC if I tap Don't Allow... no access is no access. If there is no way to turn it off Apple should remove that.

That's correct. If you tap Don't Allow, you won't have access. I thought you didn't want access? If you do, then you tap Allow. And as Servant of Cats correctly suggests it's a security feature, which can't be removed. How many times a day to you connect and disconnect your iPhone from your computer? Probably not that often, so you have to tap Allow or Don't Allow when you do connect. It's really not a big deal in the scheme of things.

My guess is that it is a partial defense against “juice jacking” - when you plug your phone into a USB “power outlet” in a public place, but malicious people have secretly hooked up that outlet to a computer for the purpose of accessing unsuspecting people’s phones.

When it is you hooking up the phone to your own computer, you almost always will want to hit “Allow.” And if you give physical possession of an unlocked phone to an untrustworthy person, they can hit “Allow” whether you want them to, or not.

Now i understand... security

Thanks
