Memory can not be changed after initial computer manufacture.

The only way to accomplish what you describe is to convert the Mac You have now to CASH (by selling it) and use the cash to obtain a computer that better meets your needs.

Computers are a commodity item, and although you may feel an attachment to "your Mac", it is not any different from any other similarly-equipped model. Computers do not have 'Art Value'.

Often people want to throw more RAM at a problem that is, in reality, totally unrelated to RAM amount. Please detail your reasons for wanting more RAM. It is possible something is afoot with which we can help, like conflict form unneeded aftermarket apps.

Adding RAM almost never makes a computer seem faster in actual use.
