Notes app missing from Home Screen but present in App Library on iPhone

So somehow, the notes app on my home screen disappeared. It still shows in the app library in settings, as well as if I search it I can open it. It’s like it still exist everywhere except for the actual app to click on on the home screen. So since it shows everywhere, I cannot re-download it as it only gives me the option to open it because it still sees it there and without it being on the home screen, I can’t find any way to actually delete it so I can reinstall it so it shows up. I am not worried about the content of the notes and recovering that I just want the note app itself back on my home screen. Any guidance or help is appreciated.
