Alternatively, if your iPhone is a recent model in good condition otherwise, you could use its trade-in value to trade up to a newer model that supports additional features, such as Apple Intelligence. (iPhone 15 and later.)

A weak battery does not count against its condition, because when they refurbish it, a new battery will be used.
