AirPods should really only automatically connect to any device that shares the same Apple ID. Is it possible someone else, or others have logged in to a device with your Apple ID, even if it’s not intentional? Or someone else has access to your Apple ID?
Try unpairing your AirPods from all devices and resetting them. You can do this by holding the button on the back of the case until the light flashes amber. Then, re-pair them with just your personal devices. Make sure your Apple ID is secure, change your password if necessary, and enable two-factor authentication for added safety.
Lastly, check your iCloud settings to ensure your devices aren’t sharing information in a way you didn’t intend. If the issue persists, it might be a software glitch or bug that Apple can help resolve once they investigate further.
