Screen recording won't work in Sequoia

I'm using Sequoia 15.5 on a Mac Mini and need to record a sequence on my screen. I use Command-SHift-5 and get the screenshot toolbar. It does have a button on the right side, but marked "Capture," not "Record." I've tried picking different settings for a recording, like the window, a selected area, and so on, then looked at the options and tried different ones, but it does NOT give me an option to record, only capture.

I've gone to Settings->Privacy and Security->Screen and System Audio Recording and the only options are to allow recording or capture by specific programs. (I have one enabled for QR codes.) There is no option there to allow macOS to record or for screenshots, just the ability to pick the programs that I want to let capture or record the screen.

Is this a feature that's been "disappeared" in the name of security? I really need to do a simple 10-15 second recording of a problem with software on my Mac to ask for help and I can't do it because of this.

Ah!

Okay, my attention was caught by the blue record button and I went down that path and missed the rest.

I have five icons. I can screenshot a selection, the screen, or a window. I can only record the full screen or a selection - no option to record the window. Still, that solves it. When I called it up, the background didn't help in terms of clarity on what was on the bar. I clicked on what was clearly the first "window" option and didn't notice the record buttons on the last 2 icons.

You don't see this? The three on the left are Capture, the three on the right are record.

Thanks for the help - the 6 icon thing wasn't a problem. I have reading issues and was distracted by the image of "Capture" in blue (which may be because it's on a test Mac?) - so I just focused on that. Glad to have it working now - I made the videos I needed and uploaded them to the help forum and am waiting to see if anyone can answer my questions or if I've run into a bug in the software I'm using.
