Unstable Bluetooth connection with iPhone 16e

With my iPhone 16e I regularly have to reset my Bluetooth connection to be able to use GPS on my Fitbit watch and to be able to operate music through my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt. In the past (iPhone SE2020) Bluetooth just kept working.

iPhone Bluetooth intermittently drops connection iPhone Air Bluetooth intermittently drops connection with different Bluetooth devices. It will then either spontaneously reconnect or I have to turn off iPhone and restart. Which reconnects the bluetooth device. This is particularly frustrating because the are all devices I use regularly. any suggestions?

Bluetooth connection keeps dropping with paired devices My Bluetooth connected devices keep dropping off Bluetooth. I am able to pair them again but it does not last. I am especially frustrated that my Honda (2026) keeps loosing Bluetooth connection. I have followed the troubleshooting instructions to clear the devices, etc. My phone is a iPhone 16e, iOS version 26.2.1. Any suggestions?

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.
