I tried uncheck the [open "safe" files after...] box and able to download it . But still unable to unzip it due to data corruption. I have tried different software to unzip. Please help to provide a real solution.

Many people have trouble downloading and opening their Apple data files, especially when one of the zip files won’t unzip and shows errors like "corrupt" or "can’t be opened." This usually happens because the file didn’t fully download, Safari interfered with the zip process, or Apple’s built-in unzip tool on Mac isn’t handling the file correctly.

To fix it, try downloading the file again using Chrome or Firefox instead of Safari. After the download, don’t double-click it right away—instead, use a tool like The Unarchiver or Keka to unzip it, which works better than the default Mac tool. You can also try unzipping the file using Terminal or on a Windows computer, which sometimes handles tricky zip files better. If you’ve tried all this and one file still won’t open, it might be corrupted on Apple’s end.

In that case, go to privacy.apple.com, request your data again, and report the issue to Apple so they can regenerate the broken file.
