2023 mac mini M2 connecting external speakers using USB

I just ordered Kanto ORA speakers and I was hoping to connect the speakers to a USB-C output port from my Mac mini to my new speakers. I don't know which port to use, or if I would be better off using my Apple Studio Monitor? Currently I have speakers plugged into the headphone jack. I thought that I read the USBc would have better sound? I have one USBC port available on my studio monitor, not sure if that would be output though? is there such a thing as a HDMI to USBC adapter? or should I get a USB to USBC adapter? What is my best option? TIA

Mac mini, macOS 15.5

The short answer: Connect a USB-C to USB-C cable between one of the mini's Thunderbolt ports and the USB-C port on the kanto speaker.

Alternately, you can connect a USB-C to USB-A cable to one of the mini's USB-A ports to the speaker's USB-C port.

As far as using the Studio Display, this might not output audio directly to the speaker, since the Studio Display acts more like a USB hub than an audio pass-through. Audio routed to the Studio Display is typically intended for its internal speakers.
