How do I confirm my Apple Account password?

Else: What to do: If you forgot your Apple Account password - Apple Support (ie: see if you can reset it)

There must be a bug in ios 18.5 where people are getting locked out of their account. Ive been getting locked out myself for 2 days. I remember I had this issue like years ago and it fixed itself once a new ios came out. Even when I unlock the account Im asked to verify my payment. Its all very strange. Ive heard others have this issue too on ios 18.5

Seems you have a different issue (locked out of account on iPhone iOS 18.5) on a different device ? ie: So far, we are working on checking whether an Apple account password is correct using iPad.
