Remove option of Require Face ID to open app

Can I remove the option to require face id on apps for my child's phone so i can monitor his activity? He had it set to require a Face ID on his photos and messages, and I want to set it so that he cannot choose that option again, basically removing it as an option to select when you press and hold an app icon.

Hi there,

Steps to remove Face ID for an app:

  1. Go to Settings: Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Navigate to Face ID & Passcode: Scroll down and tap on "Face ID & Passcode".
  3. Enter your passcode: You'll be prompted to enter your passcode to continue.
  4. Select "Other Apps": Tap on "Other Apps" to see a list of apps that use Face ID.
  5. Toggle Face ID off: Find the app you want to remove Face ID from and toggle the switch next to it to the off position.
