spring-loading functionality faulted in macOS Squoia, 15.5.

I'm unable to drag and drop files from the Download folder into any paths in the Finder sidebar on macOS Sequoia 15.5, which is equipped on my 16-inch MacBook Pro M4 released in November 2024. Precisely, when I drag items from the Download folder and hover them over any path in the Finder sidebar, the path doesn't spring as it did in previous macOS versions, and the items it contains don't spring out, thus hindering me from dragging the files into deeper and more specialized subfolders.

You may want to check the settings in System Settings->Accessibility->Pointer Control:

Make sure that Spring-loading is turned ON, and adjust the speed slider to suit your preference.

Thank you for your helpful response! My settings have always been configured as you suggested, and the spring-loading functionality worked fine in previous versions of Squioa. Even now, in Squioa, the spring-loading functionality still works normally as long as the files are not from the Download directory.

The key issue is why spring-loading malfunctions only when the files are from the Download directory, and how I can restore spring-loading functionality if the file comes from the Download directory.
