You have identified an iPad2 - this being an obsolete 32-bit device.
Be aware that replacing the battery will result in a full reset of the iPad, erasing all locally stored data and installed Apps. While data can be restored from a backup, you need to consider that compatible Apps for your iPad2 are no longer available for download - as App Developers have dropped all support for 32-bit devices. As older versions of Apps are removed from the Apple App Store, you’ll not be able to (re)download or install them - which may severely limit the usefulness and utility of your iPad.
As such, you would be ill advised to spend any money whatsoever on the iPad2 - and instead put this money towards a much newer or current model iPad for which Apps are available and supported.

It is an iPad 2.
No matter how much the battery costs, you will be paying more for the battery than a fully functional iPad 2 is worth.
It's time to recycle it. Don't waste your money.
The iPad A1395 is indeed second generation.

As to whether you should buy such a battery - that is a very different question.
The iPad 2 has a 32-bit processor, and cannot update past iOS 9.
It's pretty much guaranteed that there is almost nothing in today's App Store that will run on it – even if you can still access the App Store from 32-bit iPads at all.
