Received a refund mail from a technical issue on Apple Care+, but it said I cancelled it. I did not cancel anything

I just received two emails stating that I got a refund from a technical error on AppleCare+ purchased after March 31st. The second email included the receipt, and mentionned that I cancelled my Apple Care + on July 5th. It also said I cannot renew it once cancelled?? (I did not touch it and it automatically charges my credit card). There hasn't been any issues with my bank and all my payments from before have been successfully transferred.

I checked on the website and all my devices are still under coverage, but what does this mean?
