How do I transfer contacts from my work phone to personal iPhone without overlapping?

I would like to find a way to move my work phone contacts to my personal phone without over writing all my contacts in my personal phone. just the ones that are not present in my personal phone. I am retireing and would still like to have my contacts. I just want to add them to my personal phone

Possible that your contacts aren’t synced and are rather stored locally. As a result, try exporting it as a card then importing it to your iPhone. The instructions are below.

Export, back up, or restore contacts - Google

Contacts are tied to your email provider, so if you add your work email account to your iPhone, those contacts will be imported in. Go to the Settings app > Apps > Contacts > Accounts > Add New Account. Once added, make sure the Contacts toggle is turned on. Once you do this you can merge duplicate contacts if needed. Congrats on your retirement.
