I got this brand new iPhone 16 several weeks ago.
The battery drains so fast.
i went to the Apple Store, the technician told me the battery expected drains fast for new phone. It should be good after several days after usage.
But the problem continues.
for a full charged 100% phone, after 11hours (I did not use it at all ), the battery has only 77% left.
Is this normal ?
That’s probably normal, but it depends on many factors, including your cellular connection signal strength, the apps you are using, how many emails and texts you receive and send.
You should be charging your iPhone overnight, every night, with Optimized Battery Charging enabled. If by the next evening the battery is still above 20% the iPhone is working as designed.
More details: The absolute best way to get maximum use on a charge, as well as slow the decline of battery capacity long term is to enable Optimized Battery Charging (Settings/Battery/Battery Health) and charge the device overnight, every night leaving it powered on. The battery will fast charge to 80%, then pause. During the nighttime pause the phone will use mains power instead of battery power, allowing the battery to “rest”, and thus reducing the need to charge the battery quite as often. The phone will resume charging to reach 100% when you are ready to use your phone; it will “learn” your usage pattern. If you enable iCloud Backup (Settings/[your name]/iCloud - iCloud Backup) the phone will back up overnight also, assuring that you can never lose more than the current day’s updates.
