Back of iPhone cracked

Dropped the iPhone on concrete now through the whole back of the iPhone have a hairline crack running through it. I don’t know if it was exactly that drop, might of been something else like a drop on solid timber floor from a great height while is was walking up or down on my timber stair case in my house.

Its the iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18.5 (22F76)

1 TB version 1.02TB, 1000GB

I can see they don’t sell the 1 TB version any more on Apple website, 1000GB

I don’t know if I’ve bought this phone outright from Apple, but I think I did, not sure if I had paid extra coverage I probably didn’t as it was quite expensive, but I’m not sure, I remember paying a lot more for it thoe…

Feeling it’s risky now to health of the iPhone damage to the body

and hard to give for repair got tons of notes and photos videos on it can be very compromising for my self as dad is suffering from PSP progressive Supranuclear Palsy a rare neurological condition with no medication or cure or research being done… was very tough time for us during lockdowns nearly died… now I’m battling by myself, it’s actually the aged care facility where he’s staying permanent now where I dropped the iPhone..

Sorry for long message, just seeing if anyone had this, I don’t wear a cover or screen protector I know Apple does really well with their products but now this happened and I have no cover and no

budget literally $3500 iPhone I know I haven’t bought the latest but I can’t afford it it’s too much.. other phones can be fun as well.. but don’t they say iPhone is pretty rigid my front glass has lots of tiny scratches but when the screen is on I can’t see them.. something I’m doing wrong?? Worth a call to consumer affairs? Or Apple? Or it’s just legit repair or what ever .. let me me know any tips..

Hopefully you were able to create and maintain a Backup

of the iPhone contents. Perhaps to PC or Mac computer?

Those, asked of the owner; before service submissions.

Because they will not guarantee no data would be lost.

Being sole caregiver is hard unseen work, I know well.

I'd had need to care full-time for elder parent for more

than dozen years. Included 120-mile drives to an urban

area; where they could help diagnose and treat mom. I

had no help; was doing many different tasks, to include

seeing all her doctors, and remained there during visits.

The 'short checkup' evolved into finding places to stay

for several weeks; with long distances. On sketchy roads

in bad weather; & road closures, in south central Alaska.

Plus I did all driving; shopping, and two properties upkeep.

We ultimately had to get a house in the City, to avoid super

distant travels in poor conditions, just to get her some care..

Of course, small population states with little infrastructure

are not ideal for anyone to get proper or timely healthcare.

.Both my parents have moved on, to happy hunting ground!
