Charged for free trial after canceling subscription on new iPhone

I have a question, as I never did subscribe to free trials (music), but as I got a new iPad, it comes with 3 months free trial, after I activated it, I got immediately charged, I cancelled the subscription then right away, will I get then the money back, that I had paid for the free trial or did I now lose my money and the subscription?

Had you subscribed previously? The offer is only for new subscribers.

Have you asked for a refund? Please read this link to learn "How to cancel a subscription from Apple" Click here --> If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

Note:

• "If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, then the subscription is already canceled and won't renew." The "Expires" date means the current subscription will just run until then.

• Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription.

• If you don’t cancel trials more than 24 hours before your renewal date, your subscription might renew.

• If you don't have an Apple device, see the options near the very bottom of the support document

Make sure there aren't duplicate subscriptions involved here. This can happen if you have multiple Apple Accounts. I don't know if that is what you have. If so, it is possible you are trying to do things through one account that you set up with the other. The "no eligible purchases" message could mean you canceled a free trial that was ongoing. You should not have been billed for that. If you had already had a free trial and then tried to get one again it probably wouldn't set it up as one but instead would have just set you up on a monthly basis for a normal subscription.

Some people make the mistake of going to the store but then not remembering their original account information. The end up leaving the store with another account that leaves them with a mess to sort out.

You may need to contact Apple where you live to get them to help you determine exactly what is going on. The people here are users like yourself and we have no tools to check you account status. This support article has various country telephone numbers for contacting Apple for support and service ➔ Contact Apple Support - Apple Support For some countries look under “Other” listing at the end of each region. Not every country has telephone support.
