Today my watch will not charge. Tried several sources for power and cords.

Are you using the original USB cable that came with the watch and at least a 20W Apple power adapter?

You should use the USB charging cable, that has been included in the box, plus the Apple 20W power adapter, which you have to buy separately, if you do not have one or a more powerful, compatible adapter already.
The Apple Watch Ultra supports fast charging, which will only wirk, if you use one of these adapters.
All other power adapters, for example the old 5W Apple iPhone adapters may charge your watch, but it will take much longer.
I left it on the ATT charging cord overnight. I checked it during the night and it was at 1% and still not charging. When I woke up it was 100% charged and acting as if it was in night stand mode till I opened the watch app on my phone. Now it appears to be working properly.
