How do I unlock my iPhone with forgotten passcode?

The iPhone is pretty secure. And, obviously, you could be someone who stole an iPhone and are trying to get in illegally. We can't know. It is possible for legitimate users to get into their phones without a passcode, but as you can imagine it's a bit involved.

Really? You have been entering the code all the time, so not sure how you could forget that.

We can tell you how to reset your phone and set up a new passcode, but you are going to lose all of the data on the phone......unless.....you have a very recent backup that you could use to restore data back to the phone.

Part of the restore process will require that you enter your Apple ID and Apple ID Password to continue with the setup.

Do you know both your Apple ID and Apple ID Password? If not, you won't be able to set up the phone at all.
