Is see your previous post just fine.

I would really appreciate an answer and a fix from Apple TV unless there’s someone else out there that might be able to help me correct this issue

You were asked on July 13th, the same day you posted, whether this is happening on your iPhone or another device and it went unanswered until today. The reason why the device is important is because that is where your login information would be saved and would be the source of the problem. Since you now said it is the TV, that is where you are going to have to look.

The first step is to uninstall the app from the TV and then install it again. This will clear any corrupted cache files on your TV. For some TV models, there is a Privacy Setting for each installed app, where you have to specifically allow it to save data on the TV first, and that is your login details. Without accepting the privacy notice, the login will not be saved. You may need to perform a "soft reset" or "hard reset" on your TV and how you do that will depend on your model. You can provide it here and we can attempt to help further, but realize that the resolution is going to come from your TV and there is nothing Apple can do to change those settings or force your TV to save the login.

We should be entitled to free support don’t you think

It is free and available to all Apple customers:

Contact Apple Support - Apple Support

Unfortunately, the resolution is going to come from your TV where Apple Support may not be as knowledgeable with every TV brand and model number available. Since you have an iPhone SE, you can use the Apple TV app on that device and you will see that your login details are saved. That will confirm that it is the device that saves the login.

I have the same problem. I stream from several providers on my Windows laptop. I have no problems with any other streaming service, and up until about 6 months ago, I had no problem with Apple TV either. Now, EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to watch Apple TV on this laptop, I have to log in with my email and password, even though I check the "Remember Me" box. Never happened before. I cannot find any way around this, and needless to say it is a PITA! I do not have this problem on devices which have the Apple TV app (e.g., iPhone, Samsung smart TV).

While it’s comforting to know that others have this problem I guess I’m more interested in the fix

Maybe from someone at Apple TV

Is there a way to get to customer service and help this PITA go away

After all we pay for the subscription monthly

We should be entitled to free support don’t you think

This problem makes it necessary for me to be here every time someone wants to use the app on my television and that is bs

Wasn’t that way before

I would really appreciate an answer and a fix from Apple TV unless there’s someone else out there that might be able to help me correct this issue

Just got done replying but like my app this forum doesn’t seem to be working properly

In a nutshell I need Apple TV to fix this issue but customer support doesn’t seem available even though we pay a monthly subscription fee

If anyone else knows how to fix this or how to get in touch with someone at Apple TV who can I would appreciate it

OK, there’s a response to the pursuit of hoppiness. Way to go. 👏 Is there no response for this issue when watching Apple TV on a laptop?

I don't have a Windows device that would be needed to provide an accurate response for you. My recommendation is to post a new question with your details using a Windows laptop and no issues on any other devices. As you have seen it is the device, not the service, that saves the login details.

It also makes it difficult when you have different users providing posts to users with different devices and I see you also were confused by that and needed to be aware of the reply message as seen in my previous post: "Jul 29, 2025 12:44 PM in response to The pursuit of hoppiness". It is best to have a unique post to avoid those kind of complications.
