  2. Open the Go To dialog box:
    1. Press Option + ⌘ + G (or Command + Option + G) on your keyboard.
    2. Alternatively, go to the Edit menu in the Apple Menu Bar, select Find, then choose Go To.
  3. Go to the first page:
    1. In the "Enter page number" field, type "1" and press Enter, then click Close.

Enable Extend Mode:

    1. Press the F8 function key once.
  1. Go to the last page of the range:
    1. Press Option + ⌘ + G (or Command + Option + G) again.
    2. Type "162" in the "Enter page number" field and press Enter, then click Close.
  2. Delete the selected pages:

  3. Method 2: Using the Navigation Pane
  4. Open the Navigation Pane:
    1. Go to the View tab and check the "Navigation Pane" box. A sidebar will appear on the left, .
  5. View pages in the Navigation Pane:
    1. In the Navigation Pane, choose "Pages" to display thumbnails of all the pages in your document.
  6. Select and delete the pages:
    1. Scroll through the thumbnails and select the first page you want to delete (page 1).
    2. Hold down the Shift key and click on the last page you want to delete (page 162) to select the entire range.
    3. Press Delete on your keyboard.
  7. Important considerations
  8. Section Breaks: If your document contains section breaks, deleting pages might affect the formatting of the surrounding sections. You might need to adjust or remove section breaks carefully to maintain consistent formatting.
  9. Hidden Formatting Marks: If you're having trouble deleting pages, it may be helpful to show hidden formatting marks (like page breaks or paragraph marks) by pressing ⌘ + 8 to see what's causing the issue. You can then select and delete these marks if necessary.
  10. Remember to save a backup of your document before making major changes like deleting a large number of pages, just in case you need to revert to a previous version.
