Where to find the 28-letter recovery key after creating it on iPhone?

I have created a new recovery key. the settings app shows that this was done, because it now says the recovery key is on. However, I have looked everywhere and cannot find the 28 letter code, which intend to print. it sounds really stupid, but I am seriously stuck.

It is not stored on your iPhone anywhere as that would defeat the purpose of the increased security by using the Recovery Key that is something you would have only in your position. When setting up the Recovery Key you are given the code to write down and store in a safe place. If you no longer have this code, you can request another one by tapping on the Recovery Key option in Settings. The information is provided here and similar to setting up the key initially.
