iPhone 15 Battery Health – Is 93% in 275 Cycles Normal?

Hello everyone,

I purchased my iPhone 15 on 25th December 2024. As of today (15th July 2025), the battery health shows 93% with around 275 charge cycles completed.

I’m a bit concerned about the drop in battery health within just about 6.5 months. I use my phone regularly for work and social media, but I always try to avoid extreme temperatures and overnight charging. Still, the battery capacity has gone down 7%.

Is this normal degradation for an iPhone 15 battery in this time frame and usage? Should I be worried or consider contacting Apple Support?

Would appreciate any guidance or shared experiences.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, it's normal. For about every 50 cycles, you can expect to see about a 1% drop in battery health. 275/50 = 5.5. Your phone doesn't show fractions of battery health, so 93.9% would show as 93%. Your battery is aging as it should be aging after 275 cycles.
