How can I set a picture from internet as a login icon on my Mac?

Hi All,

Interesting question for everyone. Though it's not a necessity, is there a way to change the icon that appears when you login to your machine, to a picture you save from the internet? Right now my icon on my name is a globe and I think that might be an icon that comes with Mac. I was just curious.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

System Settings > Apple Account (the top one on the left), then click the round picture to select something else. If you want to use something from the Internet, you'd need to save the image to your Photo Library to select it.

Ok, I think that is the issue, I'm not sure how to specify the photo library location? I'm native Windows so there are a few things I'm still learning. If I go to apple account and then select Photos after clicking the round picture, I don't see where I can upload to that location.

Did you drop your "Internet pic" into your Photo.app Library...?

then Select Photos
