iPhone 14 Pro Max printing issue with Canon MG 3650 after laptop driver installation

When I send printing from my IPhone 14 Pro Max to my Canon printer MG 3650 it no longer works since I downloaded a driver to my laptop. I have removed Printer app from my phone & reinstalled but no change.

The Canon MG3650 is listed as a supported printer in About AirPrint - Apple Support. You should be able to print from an iPhone without the need for a special app, provided that the printer is connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router) as the iPhone (Use AirPrint to print from your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support).

A full power-cycle sequence may be worth testing (do not forget the router):

  • Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the iPhone, and all other devices/computers.
  • Wait two to three minutes.
  • Power on the router.
  • Wait two to three minutes.
  • Power on the printer.
  • Wait a minute or two.
  • Power on the iPhone and all other devices/computers.

Also, if you are using a VPN app, try to turn it off or remove it (at least temporarily).
