ao I accidentally changed the colour of my standby mode when messing around with it and now I can’t get it back to the red tint I have the settings on that turn it red in low ambient conditions and it’s not turning red (I like the red look as it’s less harsh on my eyes and it looks cool)

It won't turn red right away, you have to wait about 15 seconds after it goes into standby for it to change from white to red.
Try and double check if its on maybe adjust your brightness (Go to settings < Press Standby < Toggle on Night Mode then the red tint should appear when it detects darkness or maybe the environment its in is not dark enough for it

Have you tried the basics - restart your phone, test. Force restart the phone, test.
