This morning I turned on my iPad Pro M4, and within about 5 minutes of browsing on the Australian ABC News app, it shut down and started itself up again. I have had this happen once before, so it’s not a frequent occurrence. Is this a problem others are having? Is there a system issue I should be aware of? Thanks for your input.

A spontaneous restart is unusual. Should this occur, it often due to system resource exhaustion due to a malfunctioning App. Deleting the offending App and performing a forced restart, prior to reinstalling the App, will often clear the problem:

If the problem reoccurs with regularly, you would be best advised to report the issue to the App Developer:
