AirPods Pro 2 Active Noise Cancellation performance decline after upgrade
I bought air pod pros for the first time 2 years ago. The noise canceling was amazing, couldn’t hear a thing. I loved it! I upgraded my pros to pros 2 in April/May of last year and have noticed a significant decrease in noise canceling. I can hear everything going on around me but it’s just slight dampened. I’m very irritated with the poor quality and the lack of a fix. Also, I can’t find any correspondence about it from Apple. It’s starting to feel like a ploy to encourage buying maxes, if I’m being honest. I wish I could return these pros because they aren’t worth much without good noise canceling. I also notice the ability to edit whether it’s noise canceling, adaptive or normal has been removed from the control menu.
FYI: I have performed troubleshooting before posting, including checking that the tips fit, the pods are in my ear properly, firmware updates, disconnecting and reconnecting from devices. Resetting AirPods, using the fit test, etc.

Original Title: Someone’s not being honest. AirPod Pros 2 noise canceling no loner cancels any type of noise. It’s been a year of the noise cancelling being poor quality.
