How to track or lock stolen phone

My iPhone got stolen..I also forgot my  iCloud password… how can I track it or locked it…

You did have a Passcode on the iPhone, correct?


The phone is locked. Unless you had a very simple to guess Passcode, there is no way that anyone could ever guess your Passcode in the very limited number of tries that are allowed before the phone won't even allow any more log on attempts.


Your iCloud Password is the same as your Apple Account Password. Please use the link below:

You can't without access to your account. The first step is to gain access.

Then, as long as you had Find My turned on, you can follow the steps here:

In any case, your phone is still locked as long as you were using a Passcode and it cannot be accessed. If the thief attempts to guess the Passcode, the phone will be disabled after too many failed attempts. Of course you would not want to have a Passcode such as "1111" or "1234".
