Troubleshooting a Lost Device:
Secure your Account:
Having been lost, ecure your account.
A. Verify Your Devices:
Verify that your the devices logged in to your account or officially yours, by using this link: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support
B. Consider Modifying your Credentials:
Having been lost, someone likely or may have your credentials. So, by all means, consider modifying them, starting with a new Apple Account password.
C. Locating This:
Apple doesn't trace what travels from where to where, through use of Find My. But, third-party applications might. Go here: https://www.icloud.com/find. If using a third-party app (i.e. LoJack by Absolute Software), then log in to that site, seeing if you can locate it.
D. Never Getting this Back:
If you are certain your would never get this back, then you can erase it with Find My, if set up. For future reference, you can use the Apple Configurator to create a message that shows up on your Lock Screen that can contain information such as how about how to contact you regarding this iPhone. So, if back in your possession, consider that, if not done already.
