Are you referring to AppleCare+ coverage? Once it expires, you can renew within 30 days of expiration in some locations on a month by month basis. If it has been longer than 30 days, you can't renew it. If this isn't what you're referring to, please provide more details.

Did you read what I posted? It appears your coverage expired 2 years ago. Even if you paid for an AppleCare + Plan it cannot be renewed now. I'd imagine you only had the standard one year plan, which came with your phone. The standard plan couldn't ever be extended to begin with.
So to answer your question on what to do, you don't do anything, because you can't do anything.

What do you do about what, exactly?
The warranty was for one year from the original date of sale.
The warranty is expired.
If you need repairs, you will have to pay for service.
