Uninstall voices from MacOS Sequoia

Is there no way to delete voices that I downloaded? Like, say, Matilda (Premium)?

I tried:

  • System Preferences > Accessibility > System Voice > (i) > clicking the system voice to access the voice list. Then there is no delete option, no three dots, nor does right clicking does not bring up a contextual menu.

  • Searching for system files (not that the Mac search actually searches the system files even when that option is turned on)

  • Looking for Terminal commands

Nothing. Is this some new crazy thing? Once downloaded, never to be deleted?

I either misunderstood what you wrote, or it’s wrong and you haven’t actually tried it, or you are using a different MacOS (not Sequoia), or you are using an iPhone. And, BTW, on the iPhone (iOS 18.5), the procedure is: Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices, click a voice, click the voice again, and then swipe left in the list of voices, some of which iOS prevents you from deleting.
