Balancing iPad and MacBook portability in a Swiss Gear backpack

hi Apple community my name is Adam . I have a question so I recently got a new MacBook Air 13 inch this year model in starlight and I know the MacBook Air weighs about 2.7 pounds and I also have an iPad Pro that weighs about 1.28 pounds and I have a Swiss gear backpack and I want to take my iPad and my MacBook Air and should do an iPad mini

Unless you are you a particularly fragile person, Adam, or have a disability of some sort that limits your capacity, I wouldn't expect a MacBook Air and iPad Pro to be at all uncomfortable to carry in a backpack.


It's not uncommon to see folks regularly carry 10# or 15# or 20# in a backpack. Take a look around any college campus, for example.


I do believe you're overthinking this.

We don't know how much weight you are comfortable carrying or what your needs are for an iPad.


I have both an MBP and and iPad Pro. I almost never had need to carry both.
