iPhone 16 in my pocket burns my leg.

I was cycling home and I always put the phone in my thigh pocket. Today on my way home I felt this burning pain. The pain started when I would have been within wifi range of the house. So for about 30 to 60 seconds I felt this burn stabbing spot like I was being poked with a metal object. When I go to the house, I pulled my phone out of my pocket a web browser was trying to load a google page and I have a red burn spot right where my phone was. Anyone else have a burn experience?

Well, the simple solution is to not keep the phone in a pocket against your body. The most important reason is it isn’t a safe place for a $1,000 plus piece of delicate electronics. Either get a phone holder for your handlebars, or get a holster that can clip over the top of your pants, or a cross-chest holder.

In normal use the phone can safely operate up to 35º C (95ºF); that is a high enough temperature to cause mild burns.
