There is no possible way a virus could exist on an Apple device.

The risk you mentioned has to do with entering your username and password into a scammer’s fake website to prevent account takeover and financial fraud.

Just the act of responding informs the scammer that the random email is "live" and then they share that information with other scammers.

Stay safe by ignoring, reporting and deleting suspicious emails and phone calls.

Learn how to ⇢ Recognize and avoid phishing messages, phony support calls, and other scams.

Good luck! 👋🏼😉

None.

Unless you are a high level target, like a politician, journalist, diplomat, celebrity etc... you simply are not worth the time, expertise, and cost associated with remotely hacking an iPhone. As such, it is super unlikely anybody would want to hack you.

Scammers operate on you not a device. There is no way for any software to identify a scammer. A Scammer by definition tries to trick you, not your device, into giving out personal details or paying them for something you don't need.

There are no known viruses that can affect a non-jailbroken iPhone.

You. You’re the best choice here.

But yes, suggestions around how to offload your data and your privacy to scammers and crooks and conglomerates by installing and using rubbish apps, and we can provide suggestions for apps seeking to upload your data and to monitor your activities can be provided, if you want that.

Given fears and the need to DO SOMETHING, you are primed for exploitation, too. Not your iPhone. You. As for your iPhone and its security? Your iPhone is harder to exploit than you or me or others reading here. Social engineering, bad setups, lack of two-factor authentication, lack of backups, password re-use, failure to address the security recommendations Apple provides, etc.

An iPhone is harder to exploit than us certainly, but not impossible, and if you’re an investigative journalist, senior in private or public entity, with access to sensitive or classified data or to great wealth, associated with military or defense activities, you will want to learn how to secure your data and your activities. And add-on apps won’t help here.

Put differently, add-on security apps can reduce performance and battery, can pillage your data including reselling your personally-identified web-browsing activities, can cause instabilities and crashes, and can leak your data. And tend to be noisy about nothing.
