Underlined text in red on iPhone screen

The screen is trying to match the letter/number combinations to words in the dictionary. You can safely disregard the red underlines when looking at your example. But when you see it in text such as email and messages, it's a good idea to check the spelling of anything underlined in red. See my examples below:

• Every is spelled correctly here.
• There are missspellings in thiis example.

The underlines indicate spelling errors - unrecognized words. The file you’re looking at is an internal file not meant for your analysis or understanding.

By far the most alarming part of your screenshot is the “9” in the upper right. You should never allow your iPhone battery to get that low. Keep it above 20%.

Well, that appears to be the spell checker warning you about misspelled words.

Obviously, most of the text has been ignored.

Just ignore it.
