Panic: Sleep/Wake hang detected

A while ago my Macbook Pro from 2020 was turning itself off after a few hours left on standby and when I restarted it I got the error described below. After changing my Lock Screen settings back to default values it seemed to stop. I'd just like to know if this is an issue and if I should avoid letting my computer turned on for too long.

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled temporarily.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

unplug all non-essential peripherals when testing

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS

You may well be asking the impossible question to answer here— Why(?)

without knowing the exact Mac, exact applications installed/running, w/ limited information not going to speculate.
