Airpods 4 with excessive bass and limited EQ options

The only way to determine if they are faulty is by scheduling an important at Apple or Authorized Apple Service Provider. It is odd that the Accessibility Headphone Settings had no effect. I also recently purchased the AirPods 4 as an upgrade to the originals and find the sound quality exceptional and a vast improvement over my previous pair. In comparison I would say that the original ones sound "tinny", if that makes any sense. Not sure if that is a personal preference thing or not.

• What is the source of the music you are listening to where there is too much bass?
• Is this specific to Dolby Atmos songs?
• Does the song actually have a lot of bass, and you simply don't want to hear it?

Go to settings… Music… Audio… click EQ… pick reduce Bass. This only works with music.

There are a few EQ Apps in the APP Store that lets you fine tune the Audio EQ.

• If you have an iPhone, did you adjust the audio at Settings > Accessibility > Audio & Visual > Headphone Accommodations?
• Otherwise, you have 14 days to return them.

It may be you and not the Airpods.
