Use Noise Cancellation:

  1. Go here: Adjust Audio Settings on iPhone - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: Use phone noise cancellation
  3. As it Reads: Phone noise cancellation uses air pressure to reduce ambient background noise. This means that you hear better when you’re holding the receiver to your ear in certain noisy environments. Phone noise cancellation is available and on by default on iPhone 12 and earlier, and can be turned off for your comfort.

What to Do:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: Accessibility
  3. Tap: Audio & Visual
  4. Turn On: Phone Noise Cancellation
